Joey is the owner of three adult nightclub venues in the Carolina's as well as successful dental practices in Naples, FL. He is considered a highly effective and innovative business operator. His skills include business administration, finance, quality control, strategic planning and job growth.

Elected officials, law enforcement and employees often praise Bien’s level of integrity and diplomacy. He possesses an extraordinary ability to execute circumspection on heated legislative issues. Additionally, he has been involved with numerous charities and served on a number of boards of directors, including the Orlando American Diabetes Association and the ACE National Board of Directors.

As a board member for the Association of Club Executives, he helped spearhead COAST (Club Operators Against Sex Trafficking), a nationally recognized program where club owners and adult club staff work directly with special federal agents at the Department of Homeland Security Investigations to teach adult club workers how to recognize and report human trafficking in communities.

Additionally, Bien is currently working on VAN (Veterans are needed), a web-based resource that provides jobs to former military personnel.

As the founder and owner of The Treasure Clubs in Asheville,NC, Greensboro, NC, as well as Myrtle Beach, SC, his innovations shined when he introduced a Sports Bar based theme. He set an almost unprecedented gold standard when he insisted all dancers be treated as employees, sans court orders or lawsuits.  Consequently, in almost a decade of operations, he has established wonderful relationships with local liquor authorities. Alternatively, he offers tuition reimbursement to employees who qualify and instituted the Treasure Club Security Plan (Created by former police officer and Treasure Club employee).

His Asheville location has been nominated nationally, by ED Publications, four times as small club of the year, winning in 2014. The Greensboro location has been nominated three times and chosen as 2016’s Best Small Club in the South East along with The Weekly reader’s choice winner in 2016.
