Eric Ribeiro began his long path in his bartending career in France. After graduating with a BA in Culinary Arts, Eric studied in some of the best kitchens in Paris, working alongside some of the best chefs in France. Eric moved into an instructing role, teaching a new generation of chefs, before moving to the United States. After moving to Greenwich, CT, Eric moved from the back of house to another sort of kitchen, the bar, where his knowledge in flavor creation, food matching, and his creative nature synthesized with his passion for service and the unique opportunities of creation that mixology offers. His drive for learning has led Eric to take the Bar 5 courses, to study under the tutelage of the most renowned mixologists in the world, and to pass that knowledge on. He currently stands behind the Diageo Bar in New York, where he develops cocktails for Diageo brands, trains other bartenders on brands and technique, and shines as an ambassador for high end mixology and drink development.
