David Brinkley is an expert in the nightclub business who has owned and operated four of San Francisco’s most popular nightlife establishments. He is currently the co-founder and managing partner of Love + Propaganda Nightclub, Audio Nightclub, and Bergerac Bar. He was previously the co-owner and managing partner of Vessel Lounge that was open from 2007 to 2015.

Opening in 2015, Love + Propaganda has proven itself as one of San Francisco’s premier nightlife venues and events spaces. It was the winner of the “Dance Club of the Year” at the Bar & Nightclub awards in 2017. Audio and Bergerac opened in the fall of 2013 and have won several awards, including "Best New Club," "Best Sound," and was runner-up for "Best New Concept" at the Bar & Nightclub Awards and “Best Club on the West Coast” from DJ Mag.

David has a strong understanding of all elements of nightlife including bar management, entertainment, marketing, design, and lighting and sound. He played a pivotal role in the design of Audio, Love + Propaganda and Bergerac. He has 8 years of bartending experience and has worked at multiple different bars and restaurants during his 15-year hospitality career.

Prior to his 15-year career in the nightlife industry, David worked in advertising and marketing. He graduated from Babson College in 1995 with a B.S. in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He was born and raised in England.
